Steve Coppell
Coppell spent seven years playing for Manchester United between 1975- 1982, appearing in 322 matches for United, scoring a total of 53 goals. During 1977, Steve Coppell made his international debut for England and became a permanent fixture in the England starting line up. In a midfield including a variety of talent such as Ray Wilkins, Trevor Brooking, and Coppell was another key member. Coppell appeared in the opening matches of the 1982 world cup finals in Spain however he then had to withdraw. In his 42 international appearing for England, his nation won a staggering twenty six matches and lost on only eight occasions. Coppell was forced to premature retirement from football at the young age of 28.

Gordon Strachan
After spending three season playing for Dundee, he signed for Aberdeen in 1977. In his seven year spell at Aberdeen, he played on 183 occasions, scoring a total of 55 goals for the Dons; he followed his spell at Aberdeen, transferring to Manchester united in 1984. His five year spell at Manchester United witnessed him play 160 times for the club, scoring 33 goals. Strachan won the FA Cup with Manchester United and left the club in 1989. Strachan made his international debut for Scotland in 1980 and soon became a permanent member of the squad. He played in the 1982 and 1986 world cup finals, scoring one goal in the 1982 world cup. He was part of the Leeds united team which won the English league championship during the 1991-92 season.
